Riley is a highly skilled tattoo artist who has been providing exceptional work at Freedom Tattoos for over a decade. In 2012, he became the owner of the studio after taking over from his father, Brian Armstrong, the founder of Freedom Tattoos. Before assuming ownership, Riley worked alongside his father, learning every aspect of the business, including tattooing, studio operations, cleaning protocols, and customer service.
Riley is known for producing large-scale illustrative tattoos that flow naturally with the anatomy of each client. His work reflects the traditional roots of the tattoo industry, with every custom design carefully drawn by hand on paper before it becomes a tattoo. While he embraces these time-honored methods, he continually pushes himself to expand what is artistically possible through his craft.
Whether working in vibrant color or timeless black and grey, Riley creates tattoos designed to stand the test of time. His extensive experience allows him to develop high-contrast compositions with expert application, ensuring each piece remains bold and readable for years to come while telling a meaningful story.
Riley is also highly experienced in cover-up tattoos, using careful planning and precise execution to transform existing tattoos into entirely new works of art. In addition, he specializes in scar cover-ups of various sizes, including surgical scarring, creating designs that help clients regain confidence through beautifully crafted artwork.

Jaden has been deeply involved in the tattoo industry his entire life, growing up in the Freedom Tattoos studio since his grandfather was the owner and being raised by a tattooist father. He is very familiar and comfortable with the industry. Born with a natural eye for art, Jaden was raised with the expectation of becoming both an artist and eventually an owner of the family business. Today, he brings a new generation of vision into tattooing and is driven to see the studio continue to evolve while strengthening its connections within the Vernon community.
Having been taught by an expert in the trade, Jaden is constantly striving to take his work to the next level. He is an incredibly versatile artist with experience working with a wide variety of clients. His well-trained eye for composition allows him to create tattoos that are thoughtfully designed and tailored to each individual's aesthetic, anatomy, and personality.
Jaden takes particular pride in his black and grey, fine line, and illustrative work. He enjoys pushing the boundaries of tattooing by blending styles and exploring new ideas to create truly unique pieces of art. A perfectionist by nature, he dedicates the extra time and attention needed to ensure every tattoo is completed to the highest standard.
Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques, Jaden works with a premium rotary pen-style tattoo machine and creates his artwork digitally, allowing for precise planning and refined custom designs.
